Comedy's Magnificent Seven are hitting the road. America's funniest TV comedians have joined forces to create "The Good Humor Men." With 56 appearances on NBC's The Tonight Show and numerous appearances on Late Night with David Letterman, HBO, Showtime, MTV, VH1, PBS, A&E and The Comedy Channel, this is a seasoned assembly of professional comedians. Included among the comics are:
- Pat Hazell - One of the original writers for NBC's Seinfeld.
- Anthony Griffith - Emmy Award winner.
- Wayne Cotter - Host of Comic Strip Live.
- Henry Cho - Host of Friday Night Videos.
- Mark Schiff - One of Johnny Carson's favorite comics.
- Evan Davis - Star Search finalist
- Jimmy Brogan - One of the top writers for The Tonight Show with Jay Leno
They are reuniting to present a one-night comedy festival affectionately referred
to as Hahapalooza. They have been called "notably original," "spectacularly funny," "an
invigorating breath of fresh air," and "a gust of laughing gas." Thanks to
their new alliance they are bringing their original brand of humor to theatres
across America. Jimmy Brogan served as talent coordinator for The Tonight Show
with Jay Leno for five years. He was responsible for booking all the comedians
including the likes of Ray Romano, Kevin James and Anthony Clark who all went
on to enjoy success on their own network sitcoms. Jimmy says, "I saw over one
thousand comedians audition for the program. The Good Humor Men is a collection
of the best and brightest that I had the pleasure of seeing over the years. I
personally guarantee that you will laugh at America's Comedy Dream Team. |
